Racing Though The Forest

This is a painting using acrylic paints and gesso on a prepared wood panel.
I quieted my mind and just painted, without thought or direction. The colors, lines and shapes emerged and my goal was to see how they best spoke and interacted with each other. I didn't know what this painting would look like until it was finished, and it remains open to individual interpretation. I see a horse racing through a forest, running through a maze of trees and paths.
