Mixture of collage, paint, and drawings done by hand. Inspired as I (artist, Eliz. Scholder) was
seeing my young son through the recovery of a near-death illness. I had unearthed several Life
magazines from the momentous period in America, when three of our greatest leaders were slain, and I
thought dearly of the personal loss to the wives, families, as well as to our fellow citizens.
